Job summary

First Response Site Services Ltd in Rainham, Essex is seeking a Customer Service Specialist – Site Supplies to process customer orders, manage stock levels and deliver first‑class service across the order journey.

You will handle quotes, liaise with suppliers, upsell where possible, and maintain accurate inventory records using our systems. A construction industry background and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working in the construction industry or with site supplies.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage stock levels and use inventory systems.
• Comfort with processing orders, quotes and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Providing first-class customer service to our customers
• Processing customer sales orders accurately and efficiently
• Preparing and issuing customer quotations
• Handling incoming telephone and email enquiries
• Monitoring stock availability and inventory levels
• Updating the company’s inventory management system
• Managing product returns and supplier credits
• Identifying opportunities to upsell products and services
• Work closely with the Tool Hire and Site Supplies teams
