Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group in Oldham is seeking an Assistant Site Manager / Resident Liaison Officer for a planned refurbishment scheme on windows and doors. You will report to a Site Manager and coordinate day-to-day site operations to keep works on time and within budget.

You will manage health and safety, monitor quality, liaise with residents and the client, order materials, and demonstrate a stable career history with SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid tickets.

Qualifications

• SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required tickets, with a proven track record in social housing refurbishments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth operation of the site, ensuring works run to programme and budget.
• Maintain health & safety and promote a positive safety culture on site.
• Monitor workmanship quality and liaise with the client and residents.
• Order materials and coordinate site communications with stakeholders.

The company work across internal refurbishments, external refurbishments, fire safety upgrades and energy efficiency upgrades.

They are looking for an Assistant Site Manager / Resident Liaison Officer (this is a dual role) to join their team.

This is working on a planned refurbishment scheme in Oldham (windows and doors)

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established Main Contractor who have a healthy pipeline of work and operate on a number of schemes.

You will be reporting into a Site Manager and your responsibilities will include:

• The smooth operational running of the site, ensuring the programme of works is completed within correct timescales and budget.
• Ensuring health & safety is maintained and creating a positive attitude towards H&S throughout the team
• Monitoring the quality of work
• Liaising with the client
• Liaising with residents and ensuring they are kept updated with the construction process
• Ordering materials

Experience needed:

SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required tickets, along with a proven track record of successfully delivering Social Housing Refurbishment schemes.

You must be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career history on your CV.

The salary on offer is £36k (depending on experience) plus 4k car allowance and other benefits.
