Job summary

Valoris Group is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a high-spec residential care home project in Uxbridge. This permanent, on-site role offers long-term stability and a clear progression path within a quality-driven contractor environment.

You will assist the Site Manager, coordinate subcontractors and logistics, ensure safety and build programme adherence, and maintain thorough site documentation across the project’s full cycle.

Qualifications

• SMSTS or SSSTS (in date)
• Experience as Site Supervisor or Assistant Site Manager on care home / residential developments
• Knowledge of NHBC standards and general building regs
• Strong communication, organisation and team coordination skills

About the Role:

We are working with a well-regarded principal contractor seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the successful delivery of a high-spec new-build residential care home project in Uxbridge. This is a permanent, single-site role offering long-term stability and career development within a structured, quality-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations
• Support management of subcontractors, materials, and on-site logistics
• Ensure health & safety standards, quality benchmarks, and build programme are adhered to
• Maintain site documentation, reporting progress and issues as needed
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure smooth site delivery

Requirements:

• SMSTS or SSSTS (in date)
• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor or Assistant Site Manager, ideally on care home, residential, or similar developments
• Sound knowledge of NHBC standards and general building regs
• Strong communication, organisation, and team coordination skills
