Job summary

Fawkes & Reece are seeking a Site Manager to join a permanent scheme in Halifax, the internal refurbishment of two wards within a live hospital environment. The initial project will run for approximately 1 year, with future schemes across the Greater Manchester region.

You will report to a Contracts Manager and be responsible for the programme, budget, safety and quality, client liaison, and material orders on site.

Qualifications

• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid tickets are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the programme of works is completed within correct timescales and budget.
• Maintain health and safety standards and foster a safety-minded culture on site.
• Monitor the quality of workmanship.
• Liaise with the client and Tenant Liaison Officer to maintain satisfaction.
• Order materials and coordinate with the Contracts Manager.

The comapny are seeking a Site Manager to join them on a permanent basis. Initially you will be working on a scheme in Halifax, which is the internal refurbishment of two wards within a live hospital environment. This will run for approximately 1 year and further projects will be across the Greater Manchester region.

You will be reporting into a Contracts Manager and your responsibilities will include:

• The smooth operational, ensuring the programme of works is completed within correct timescales and budget.
• Ensuring health & safety is maintained and creating a positive attitude towards H&S throughout the team.
• Monitoring the quality of work
• Liaising with the client
• Ordering materials
• Working closely with the Tenant Liaison Officer and ensuring tenant satisfaction is maintained

Experience needed:

SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required tickets

You must be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career history on your CV

The salary on offer is £45-50k (depending on experience) plus 5k car allowance and other benefits
