Craven College is seeking a committed Student Safety Engagement Assistant (with Security duties) to join the Facilities and Estates team in North Yorkshire. You will act as an ambassador on campus, conducting routine patrols and monitoring to maintain a safe, secure environment for students, staff and visitors.
The role requires an SIA licence, Level 2 GCSEs in English and Maths, strong literacy, and proven verbal communication skills, with prior security experience.
We are currently seeking to employ a committed and motivated Student Safety Engagement Assistant (with Security duties), As a key member of the Facilities and Estates team, you will act as an ambassador for Craven College providing a highly visible presence and service around campus to all our students, staff and visitors. You will work closely with the Head of Estates and Facilities along with Student Service Manager to foster and promote a culture of positive student engagement and experience. You will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks to ensure the provision of first-class facilities and a safe, secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will carry out routine patrols and monitoring of the campuses responding to different types of issues and/or emergencies; investigation and incident report writing as required to the Head of Facilities & Estates.

Salary: Craven College Harmonised Pay Scale Points 2 - 3, £26,900.74 to £27,371.50 per annum, pro rata to £23,279.49 to £23,686.88 per annum (term time only, 40 weeks work, paid for 45 weeks) Craven College is an aspirational College set in friendly and inclusive rural campuses in Skipton within the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, at The Aviation Academy based airside at Leeds Bradford Airport and at Evolve in the heart of Ripon.
