Job summary

Craven College is seeking a committed Student Safety Engagement Assistant (with Security duties) to join the Facilities and Estates team in North Yorkshire. You will act as an ambassador on campus, conducting routine patrols and monitoring to maintain a safe, secure environment for students, staff and visitors.

The role requires an SIA licence, Level 2 GCSEs in English and Maths, strong literacy, and proven verbal communication skills, with prior security experience.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 (GCSE A-C) in English and Maths or be working towards it.
• Current SIA licence required.
• Good literacy and excellent verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine patrols and monitoring of campuses.
• Respond to different types of issues and emergencies as they arise.
• Prepare investigations and incident reports for the Head of Facilities & Estates.
