Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking a Site Security Manager in Glasgow to provide day-to-day leadership of security teams, ensuring client expectations are met and safety standards are upheld.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, security experience, and ability to work out-of-hours. You will engage with clients, manage schedules, and contribute to service improvement in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence and prior security experience.
• Able to work out-of-hours including weekends.
• Right to work in the UK; five-year employment history or evidence.
• Demonstrates integrity, vigilance and helpfulness.
• Experience in managing security teams is preferred.
• UK-based security role with client-facing duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support security teams, ensuring training and briefing.
• Promote Securitas values: Integrity, Vigilance, Helpfulness.
• Manage scheduling, timekeeping, and holiday planning up to 6 months.
• Conduct site audits and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Oversee attendance management and escalate issues.
• Investigate incidents and support training development.
• Maintain strong client relations and continuous improvement.
