Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Scotland is seeking a Security Officer to protect property, people, and assets in line with site Assignment Instructions and contract guidelines. You will be accountable for delivering KPI-driven security services on site.

The role requires SIA Licence, previous security experience, and compliance with UK law and health and safety standards. You will renew licences and complete required training to stay accredited.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience.
• SIA Licence is required.
• SC Clearance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with policies, legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager.
• Complete on-site tasks as defined in published Assignment Instructions (AI's).
• Review Assignment Instructions and propose amendments to improve service.
• Maintain front-line licences (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and CCTV PSS SIA Licence.
• Report Health & Safety hazards and threats, and take appropriate action.
• Maintain professional conduct with difficult customers.
• Complete accurate incident notebooks for reports.
• Keep to schedules and check calls as per AI's.
• Call emergency services and Communications Centre to report incidents.
