Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Site Security Manager to lead a security team on a key site in the Farnborough area. You will drive service excellence, manage the security operations, and ensure rapid response to incidents while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

The role requires extensive people management, SC clearance, and an SIA licence, with strong IT and communication skills to coordinate with the client and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to be screened to SC Level – or have a current SC clearance – Minimum standard
• British nationality – UK Passport holder
• Clean driving licence – Manual/Automatic
• SIA licence – DS,SG,CP- CCTV Licence required
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Extensive people management experience
• First Aid at Work certificate desired, if not must be willing to achieve it
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a similar role

Responsibilities

• Maintain integrity of physical security daily through security measures and controls.
• Manage Mitie security team – Team leader and officers.
• Maintain staff rosters to cover all shifts.
• Manage staff holiday applications, including resourcing cover officers.
• Maintain Security team Training Records and training matrix.
• Investigate security incidents and complaints.
• Ensure security systems are functional; raise tickets with client service desks.
• Act as focal point for operational delivery of physical security.
• Engage stakeholders internally and with Police/MOD agencies.
• Be part of Emergency Response Team; represent at meetings.
• Ensure events are reported and investigated with corrective actions.
• Support trials and project activity with additional resources.
