OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Security Officer for a busy client site in Scotland. You will protect people, property and assets, while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

The role requires a valid SIA licence and the Right to Work in the UK, along with the ability to pass BS7858 vetting. Previous security experience and strong communication skills are essential to deliver professional customer service on site.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work in the UK and ability to pass BS7858 vetting.
• Valid SIA Licence.
• Previous experience in a security role.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety and security of buildings, personnel, and visitors across the site.
• Act as a first point of contact, providing a professional, friendly and helpful service.
• Monitor fire, security and building management systems, responding appropriately to incidents.
• Support a safe working environment by following Health & Safety policies and reporting hazards, damage, or defects.
• Control access points, barriers, and support traffic management across the site.
• Carry out regular patrols and ensure security procedures are consistently followed.
