Job summary

Securitas in Glasgow, UK is seeking a Site Security Manager to lead security teams and deliver a professional, 24/7 service for our client. This role focuses on strong day-to-day leadership and acting as a key contact across operations.

You’ll manage scheduling, site audits, incident response and training, while embedding our values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness. A valid SIA licence and UK right to work are required, with progression opportunities across a global security organisation.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Able to achieve PSS/SC
• Available for out-of-hours emergencies and weekend
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Five-year checkable employment history or documentary evidence
• Uphold the Securitas core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness
• Experience managing a complex and time-critical contract
• Qualifications in security management or people management

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership and Development: Lead and support the security teams, ensuring they are well-trained, briefed, and ready to perform their duties at all times.
• Operational Management: Manage scheduling, Timegate, and holiday planning up to 6 months in advance for both sites.
• Compliance and Training: Conduct investigations and disciplinary actions as required; ensure policies meet ISO requirements.
• Health & Safety: Ensure the security team understands and complies with all H&S procedures and PPE requirements.
• Operational Support: Maintain understanding of all departmental functions and support management as needed.
