Job summary

ISS is seeking a proactive supervisor to manage operational priorities and support front-line colleagues across multiple sites in the United Kingdom. The role emphasizes maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring service levels, and providing day-to-day leadership for Cleaning Placemakers.

The position involves site inspections, handling ad hoc requests, and coordinating with the Soft Services Manager on recruitment and compliance tasks.

Responsibilities

• We are looking for a proactive and adaptable individual who can effectively manage operational priorities, support front-line colleagues, maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure service level agreements are consistently achieved across all sites within their remit.
• Provide day-to-day supervisory management of front-line Cleaning Placemakers.
• Proactively manage team performance to ensure client service level agreements are met.
• Support and guide operatives to achieve required service standards.
• Manage contracts and provide operational cover where required.
• Conduct regular site inspections and cleaning duties across all locations within remit.
• Respond to ad hoc cleaning requests within the designated sector.
• Complete periodic carpet cleaning and spring cleaning activities in line with specifications and planned maintenance schedules.
• Assist the Soft Services Manager with recruitment and vetting activities.
• Ensure compliance with all company procedures, systems, security policies, and contract requirements.
• Manage consumable stock levels and ensure opening, lock-up, and alarm procedures are followed at each site.
• Experience in a comparable supervisory role.
• Ability to communicate effectively with and support front-line colleagues.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage client expectations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with remote business groups and stakeholders.
• Flexible, adaptable, and proactive approach to work.
