Zusammenfassung

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to be the main on-site contact for clients and managers, coordinating and leading a team of cleaners to uphold high cleanliness standards. You will report to the Site Manager and support training and induction while ensuring compliance with COSHH and Health & Safety regulations.

You will oversee team performance, assist in training records, and drive quality through regular inspections and efficient management of supplies and equipment.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrable people skills or experience coordinating a team.
• Experience cleaning in similar environments or transferable skills.
• Understanding of COSHH and Health & Safety compliance on similar sites/environments.
• Experience in training and inducting colleagues.
• Strong communication skills essential for client liaison and team coordination.
• Proactive and adaptable, able to respond to changing demands.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Aufgaben

• Be the clients’ and managers’ main point of contact on site.
• Coordinate and drive a team on site, while completing core cleaning duties with the team.
• Support the manager with the training and induction of new staff, and the completion of training records.
• Lead by example when completing tasks, following the safe systems of work and method statements.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are performed to a high standard.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality control.
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used efficiently and maintained in good condition.
• Address any operational issues or challenges that arise, finding effective solutions to maintain smooth operations.
