Job summary

Catch 22 are working with a large healthcare organisation and are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to carry out safe maintenance, fault finding and repair of mechanical building services within a large site in the Keighley, Bradford region.

This permanent, site-based role suits a Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Craftsman, or Building Services Engineer seeking stable work with excellent training and progression opportunities. Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a recognised mechanical/building services apprenticeship or Level 3 training.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance within a large commercial building.
• Knowledge of heating, ventilation, boiler plant, pumps, fans, compressors, air conditioning and BMS controls.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across building services and plant.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on mechanical systems.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers as needed.
• Support site safety and safe systems of work.
• Assist with installation and maintenance of piping, heating and water systems.
