Job summary

Catch 22 are working with a large healthcare organisation and are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to carry out the safe maintenance, fault finding and repair of mechanical building services within a large site in the Keighley, Bradford region. Qualifications

• Must have completed a recognised mechanical/building services apprenticeship or formal training programme, minimum Level 3.
• Experience in a mechanical maintenance/building services environment within a large commercial building.
• Knowledge of heating, ventilation, boiler plant, pumps, fans, air conditioning, water services and BMS controls.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs across complex building services and plant.
• Maintain mechanical systems including boilers, heating systems, hot and cold water services, ventilation/HVAC plant, pumps, steam systems, pipework, air conditioning and associated equipment.
• Undertake installation and maintenance work on piped services including heating, hot and cold water and drainage systems.
• Diagnose faults on mechanical plant and equipment using appropriate testing and diagnostic methods.
• Work safely around complex and critical building services, following Health & Safety, Permit to Work and safe working procedures.
• Liaise with contractors, service engineers and suppliers when required.
• Support the maintenance of building management systems and associated plant.
