Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a Site Manager to lead our Water Rehabilitation contract for United Utilities in Worsley. You will manage site resources, coordinate subcontractors and ensure safe, compliant delivery of water network improvements across designated operational areas.

Strong focus on safety, quality, and on-time performance is essential. You will organise materials, carry out pre-start checks, run toolbox talks, monitor KPI targets and reporting, and maintain up-to-date HSEQ documentation.

Qualifications

• Must communicate professionally with clients, authorities and third parties.
• Must supervise and coordinate site requirements and tasks.
• Understanding of contract commercial mechanisms.
• Ability to coach, manage and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractors have appropriate equipment, materials, training and competencies.
• Demonstrate good time management and flexibility to execute responsibilities.
• Perform prestart checks and ensure work can be executed on time and without issue.
• Liaise with customers, clients, local authorities and third parties regarding works.
• Procure fittings, pipes and materials for the works.
• Provide supervision, assessment and coaching to ensure teams meet production and safety standards.
• Carry out quality checks and inspections per contract requirements.
• Lead toolbox talks, briefings and site communications.
• Maintain weekly checks and keep skill levels up to date.
• Comply with HSEQ and welfare provisions.
• Meet or exceed client and internal KPI targets and productivity goals.
• Oversee daily operations to avoid cost of failure and address issues promptly.
• Identify risks related to safety, environment and delays and mitigate.
