Job summary

Caval is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager for a Lincoln project, overseeing a structural alteration and new external staircase installation. The role is based on site in Lincoln with live work, demanding careful planning, safety management and daily progress tracking.

The position requires SMSTS, a Black CSCS Card (Manager) and First Aid at Work, with asbestos awareness and prior experience on structural refurbishment projects.

Qualifications

• SMSTS and CSCS Manager credentials required.
• Experience delivering structural alteration or refurbishment projects.
• Strong planning, coordination and health & safety management.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing all site activities from start to completion.
• Coordinating subcontractors and specialist trades.
• Ensuring all works comply with health & safety legislation and company procedures.
• Liaising with the client, structural engineer and project team.
• Managing site programmes, quality and daily progress.
• Completing site paperwork, RAMS reviews and daily records.
• Maintaining a safe and organised site throughout the project.
