Job summary

Time Recruitment seeks an experienced Site Manager for the final phase of a shop refurbishment in Bentham, Lancaster. The role manages snagging, scaffolding removal, structural works in a pharmacy area, and coordination of subcontractors. Short-term contract, 5 days, ASAP start, 07:00–16:00.

You will oversee completion works, ensure safety and programme delivery, maintain standards, and communicate with the client and project team throughout the finish phase.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial/retail refurbishment projects.
• Strong building/refurbishment and structural works background.
• Experience supervising wall demolition and structural alterations.
• Excellent communication and ability to coordinate multiple trades.
• Capable of delivering works to programme while maintaining safety.

Duration: 5 Days
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 07:00am - 4:00pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the final stages of a shop refurbishment project in Bentham, Lancaster.

This is a short-term contract ideal for a hands‑on Site Manager with a strong building and structural works background, capable of managing subcontractors and ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.

The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing the completion phase of the project, including:

• Managing snagging and final completion works
• Supervising the safe removal of temporary props and scaffolding
• Overseeing structural works within a pharmacy area
• Coordinating subcontractors and site activities
• Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with programme requirements
• Maintaining health & safety standards and site compliance
• Conducting site inspections and quality checks
• Liaising with the client and project team throughout the completion phase

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial or retail construction
• Strong background in building, refurbishment and structural works
• Experience overseeing wall demolition and structural alterations
• Excellent communication and site coordination skills
