Job summary

Bellway Homes in Scotland West is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a residential development, reporting to the Construction Manager. You will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery on site while meeting programme targets and maintaining customer service standards.

The role requires strong leadership, health & safety expertise, and the ability to coordinate trades, manage costs, and liaise with multiple stakeholders to achieve project milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager with a high-volume residential house builder.
• Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety, building legislation and NHBC standards.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a team and ensure high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day running of the development and direct site personnel.
• Oversee health and safety procedures in collaboration with HSE managers.
• Coordinate labour and resources to deliver the build programme on larger developments.
• Ensure site compliance with NHBC and Building Regulations.
• Liaise with internal departments, suppliers and partners to meet programme targets.
• Monitor site records, progress returns and reporting to Construction Manager.
