Job summary

Bellway is seeking a Site Manager to join the Scotland West Division Construction team. You will manage all aspects of a residential development site, ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective works while delivering high-quality homes on time.

You will lead site staff, implement health and safety procedures, coordinate trades and liaise with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires experience as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager on high-volume housing sites,

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above.
• Valid CSCS card at Site Manager level.
• SMSTS certificate.
• First Aid certificate.
• Construction Management qualification (HNC/HND/NVQ) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day running of the development site and direct workers.
• Implement health and safety procedures and work with Health and Safety managers.
• Maintain site presentation to high standards and coordinate labour to meet programmes.
• Attend external inspections and address corrective actions.
• Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure timely build deliveries.
• Mentor and develop site staff, provide toolbox talks and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with NHBC standards, Building Regulations and warranty requirements.
• Oversee quality control, inspections and remedial works within programme.
