Job summary

Ridgeway & Co are recruiting a Groundworks Site Manager for a long-term project in Enfield. You will join a leading groundworks contractor and drive day-to-day site operations on a major package from early stages to completion.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of drainage and foundations, and the ability to coordinate subcontractors, plant and material deliveries while maintaining safety and quality standards. Immediate start and a stable workload are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Groundworks Site Manager
• Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations, roads, infrastructure and external works
• SMSTS
• CSCS Card
• First Aid at Work
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Managing all day-to-day groundworks operations on site
• Coordinating subcontractors, labour, plant and material deliveries
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
• Conducting daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inspections
• Monitoring progress and reporting to the Project Manager
• Maintaining the highest standards of health & safety and quality control
• Liaising with clients, engineers and the wider project team
• Managing site documentation, permits and RAMS compliance

Ridgeway & Co are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworks Site Manager to join a leading groundworks contractor on a long-term project based in Enfield.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering a large-scale groundworks package from the early stages through to completion.
