Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a long-term groundworks and civils contract in Lincolnshire. You will take day-to-day control of the site, coordinate subcontractors, labour and site operations, and ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality.

The ideal candidate will have proven site management experience in groundworks and civil engineering, SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications, and strong organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within groundworks and civil engineering.
• Strong knowledge of groundworks, infrastructure and civils.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site.
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors, labour and site operations.
• Overseeing groundworks, drainage, earthworks and wider civil engineering packages.
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality.
• Managing RAMS, permits, inspections and other site documentation.
• Liaising closely with the Project Manager, engineers, subcontractors and client.
• Monitoring progress and resolving any issues that arise on site.
• Ensuring all health & safety procedures and company standards are maintained.

The Role
