Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Groundworks Site Manager for a Bourne-based project. You will oversee 2-3 groundworks gangs, coordinating daily activities with the site team to ensure work is delivered to programme and quality standards.

The role requires a solid background in groundworks, SMSTS and CSCS. You will be responsible for RAMS, subcontractor management and on-site health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Manager within groundworks.
• Strong groundworks subcontractor background.
• Commercial groundworks experience.
• Experience managing multiple gangs.
• SMSTS and CSCS required; First Aid desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 2-3 groundworks gangs on site and ensure delivery to programme and quality.
• Coordinate daily on-site activities with the Project Manager and site team.
• Manage RAMS, risk assessments and method statements and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure safety, efficiency and compliance with project timelines.

Site Manager - Groundworks - Bourne

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join our client, a well-established groundworks subcontractor, on a commercial groundworks project in the Bourne area.

This is a site-based management position overseeing 2-3 gangs, with responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of the groundworks package and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.

The Role

Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you will coordinate the groundworks gangs on site, monitor progress and ensure the works are delivered to the required quality and programme.

You will also be involved with RAMS, daily coordination, subcontractor management and general site-based management of the package.

Scope of Works

The project covers a standard commercial groundworks package.
