Job summary

RTL Group Ltd in Staffordshire is currently recruiting an experienced Groundworks Project Manager to lead the delivery of the groundworks package on a Stafford area project. This site-based role oversees planning through to completion, coordinates site teams and multiple gangs, monitors progress, and ensures health and safety, quality and programme delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong groundworks/civils background with SMSTS and CSCS; First Aid desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Project Manager within groundworks/civils.
• Strong groundworks subcontractor background.
• Experience managing commercial groundworks projects.
• Confident managing site teams and multiple gangs.
• Strong understanding of groundworks delivery and sequencing.
• SMSTS - Essential
• CSCS - Essential
• First Aid - Desirable

Job Title: Project Manager - Groundworks

Rate: Negotiable DOE - Outside IR35

Project Manager - Groundworks - Stafford

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join our client, a well-established groundworks subcontractor, on a project in the Stafford area.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the overall delivery of the groundworks package, working closely with the site team, client and wider project stakeholders to ensure the works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

The Role

This is a site-based Project Manager position with responsibility for overseeing the groundworks operation from planning through to completion.

You will be responsible for managing the site team, monitoring progress, coordinating gangs and subcontractors, overseeing programmes and ensuring works are delivered to the required standards.

The role will also involve:

• Managing the day-to-day delivery of the groundworks package
• Coordinating site teams and multiple gangs
• Monitoring programme and progress
• Managing RAMS and health & safety
• Liaising with the client and wider project team
• Ensuring quality and productivity are maintained
• Managing resources and labour requirements
• Reporting on project progress
