Job summary

Velocity Recruitment Ltd in Norwich is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a £10m cladding remediation project in a live occupied building. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure works are delivered safely and to high standards.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will monitor progress, manage HSE compliance, and liaise with residents and stakeholders. SMSTS/CSCS/First Aid are required; 18-month fixed-term contract or freelance arrangements are

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on cladding remediation, façade or external envelope projects.
• Experience working on high-rise residential or mixed-use developments.
• Previous experience working within occupied buildings is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety, quality assurance and site management procedures.
• Excellent subcontractor management, communication and organisational skills.

• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams and deliveries to maintain programme and quality standards.

• Liaise professionally with residents, occupants, stakeholders and the wider project team.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with relevant building regulations and cladding remediation requirements.

Velocity Recruitment is working with a highly reputable main contractor to recruit a Site Manager for a £10m cladding remediation project in Norwich.

The project forms part of a mixed-use development comprising a 12-storey occupied building, so experience working within a live environment is work be advantagous. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
