Hill & Hill Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a principal contractor, focusing on internal fire remediation and external facade remediation. You will manage day-to-day site operations, ensure safety, quality, and programme adherence.

The ideal candidate will have proven site management experience, strong HSE awareness, and the ability to coordinate subcontractors across façade, cladding, and fire remediation works on multi-discipline projects.

Job description

I am currently working with an established principal contractor who are looking to bring an experienced Site Manager into the business, with a strong background in facades and internal fire remediation.

This is a great opportunity for a Site Manager who has a solid understanding of fire remediation works, particularly across facades, cladding and internal fire safety, and is confident managing projects from site set-up through to completion.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, making sure works are being delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.

The role will include

• Managing day-to-day site operations
• Managing subcontractors and site teams
• Overseeing internal, façade, cladding remediation works
• Ensuring works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and programme
• Health & Safety and site compliance
• Quality control and snagging
• Liaising with Project Managers, Contracts Managers, clients and subcontractors
• Managing site paperwork, RAMS and site records
• Keeping projects on programme and dealing with any issues as they arise

The ideal candidate will have

• Proven experience as a Site Manager
• Strong experience within internal and external remediation
• Previous experience working on fire remediation projects
• Experience of internal fire remediation would be highly beneficial
• A good understanding of construction sequencing and site management
• Strong Health & Safety awareness
• Good communication skills and the ability to manage subcontractors effectively
• Relevant Site Management qualifications, including SMSTS
• CSCS and First Aid

I am particularly interested in speaking with Site Managers who have worked on external facade remediation alongside internal fire remediation, rather than purely general build experience.
