Job summary

Discovery Care Group is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our Maintenance Technicians across two care home sites in Thanet, Kent and a third in development. You will oversee scheduling, costing, sourcing materials and ensure high standards in line with CQC.

The role requires practical trade skills, strong team leadership, and robust Health & Safety knowledge. You will manage contractors for larger works, drive continuous improvement, and work with the Area Manager to maintain safe,

Qualifications

• Willingness to undertake training
• Driving licence
• Current First Aid Certificate
• H&S qualifications (e.g. PAT, COSHH, IOSH, NEBOSH, RIDDOR)

Responsibilities

• Supervise Maintenance Team and conduct audits to ensure high standards and CQC compliance
• Monitor safety, security and building condition across sites
• Assist Area Manager with job costing, ordering and stock controls
• Support daily/weekly operations and fire safety checks
• Implement and maintain Asset Management plan across sites
