Job summary

City Site Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced Site Manager to deliver a care home refurbishment over a 3-month fixed-term contract. You will manage the day-to-day programme, coordinate trades, enforce safety, and ensure quality with minimal disruption to residents.

The role requires SMSTS, First Aid at Work, CSCS, and a strong track record in healthcare or occupied buildings, plus excellent communication and team leadership to keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing refurbishment projects, ideally in healthcare or occupied buildings.
• SMSTS (or equivalent), First Aid at Work, and a valid CSCS card.
• Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and CDM regulations.
• Confident communicator with good programme and people management skills.
• Available to start immediately or at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Manage all site operations, programme and daily progress, reporting to the Contracts Manager.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades, including sequencing of works.
• Enforce health and safety standards, run inductions and toolbox talks, and maintain site records.
• Apply infection control and dust/noise controls suited to a care environment (ICRA experience is a plus).
• Carry out quality inspections and manage snagging through to handover.
• Liaise with the client, care home staff and residents' representatives, keeping disruption low.
• Monitor deliveries, materials and site security.
