Job summary

Arcona Group Ltd is seeking a Freelance Site Manager for an immediate start on a fast-track retail fit-out project in Bristol. You will drive programme, coordinate multiple trades and ensure works are delivered safely and to a high standard.

You will manage day-to-day site operations on a live site, supervise subcontractors, conduct health & safety checks and maintain clear communication with the project team and client representatives. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates required.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and deliver projects to tight deadlines.

I am currently working with a well-established main contractor who specialises in retail projects, who are seeking to recruit a Freelance Site Manager for an immediate start on a fast-track retail project in Bristol.

The Project:

This is a fast-paced retail fit-out scheme, requiring a hands-on Site Manager capable of driving programme, coordinating multiple trades and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standard. The project forms part of a wider pipeline of works, offering the potential for ongoing contract opportunities.

The Role:

As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage site logistics, conduct regular health & safety inspections and maintain strong communication with both the project team and client representatives.

The successful candidate will be proactive, highly organised and experienced in delivering fast-track retail projects within live or challenging environments.
