Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Site Manager to deliver retail and banking refurbishment projects across Birmingham and the Midlands. You will take responsibility for day-to-day site management, safety, programme delivery and quality, coordinating subcontractors and site teams.

The role requires hands-on leadership on fast-paced fit-out sites, strong client-facing communication, and a solid understanding of H&S, with SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid at Work credentials and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing retail or banking fit-out projects.
• Strong understanding of fast-track refurbishment and fit-out programmes.
• Experience delivering projects within live or customer-facing environments.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain deadlines.
• Excellent communication, organisation and client-facing skills.
• Strong working knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid at Work.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Birmingham and the Midlands.

Responsibilities

• Managing retail and banking fit-out and refurbishment projects from site set-up through to handover.

• Maintaining high standards of health and safety across the project.
• Monitoring progress against the construction programme.
• Managing quality control, snagging and final handover.
• Liaising with clients, consultants, building management and internal project teams.
• Chairing site meetings and providing regular progress reports.
• Managing works within live or occupied environments.
• Ensuring disruption to customers, staff and neighbouring businesses is kept to a minimum.
• Coordinating out-of-hours or weekend works when required.
