Job summary

Rogers McHugh Recruitment in Paignton, UK, is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a warehouse store refurbishment and fit-out, starting 14 September for an initial 5 weeks.

You will take overall responsibility for day-to-day site management, coordinate subcontractors and deliveries, drive safety and programme compliance, maintain site records, and liaise with the Project Manager and stakeholders to ensure timely completion and handover.

Qualifications

• Experience managing warehouse refurbishment or retail fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety on construction sites.
• Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and trades.
• Proven communication and organisational skills in a busy site environment.

Position: Freelance Site Manager

Rate: £270 - £300/shift

Location: Paignton - TQ4

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a warehouse store refurbishment and fit-out project, starting the 14th September for an initial 5 week duration.

The Role

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and deliveries.
• Ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to the required standard.
• Manage site health & safety and maintain site documentation.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Ensure the project is delivered efficiently through to completion and handover.

Ideal Candidate

• Able to take ownership of the site and drive the project through to completion
