Job summary

Connect Central Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager for fast-track commercial and retail fit-out projects in Newtown. You will manage trades, labour and subcontractors on a busy site, ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence.

The ideal candidate will have a background in joinery/carpentry, strong health & safety knowledge, and hold SMSTS with a Black CSCS card. IPAF is desirable but not essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience managing trades, labour and subcontractors on fast-paced fit-out projects.
• Background in commercial/retail fit-out is preferred.
• Strong Health & Safety knowledge is essential.
• SMSTS and CSCS Card (Black) required.
• IPAF desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee trades, labour and subcontractors on site.
• Coordinate activities to maintain schedule and quality.
• Enforce health and safety standards across the site.

Qualifications & Experience

• Ideally from a joinery/carpentry background
• Proven experience managing trades, labour and subcontractors
• Previous experience working on fast-track retail fit out projects
• Strong background in commercial fit out
• Valid SMSTS & Black CSCS Card
• Strong Health & Safety knowledge
• IPAF desirable but not essential
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding site environment
