Job summary

RTL Group is seeking a Site Manager to deliver works on a water treatment site in Swindon. You will oversee civil engineering operations, manage site teams and subcontractors, and ensure projects meet programme, quality and health & safety standards.

The role requires a strong civil engineering background, water industry experience, and a full UK driving licence. You will be responsible for RAMS, permits, toolbox talks and liaison with the client and project management team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience on civil engineering / water treatment projects.
• Strong civil engineering background with water industry exposure.
• CSCS Black or Gold and SMSTS qualifications are required.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to drive between sites.
• Experience supervising site teams and subcontractors.
• Ability to manage RAMS, permits and site documentation.
• Strong focus on health and safety, and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Manager to help deliver works on a water treatment site in Swindon. The successful candidate must have previous water industry experience and a strong civil engineering background. Site Manager Responsibilities:

• Managing day-to-day site operations.
• Supervising site teams and subcontractors.
• Overseeing civil engineering works on the water treatment site.
• Liaising with the client and project management team.
• Delivering toolbox talks and ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation.
• Coordinating labour, plant and materials.
• Monitoring quality and ensuring works are delivered to programme. Black or Gold CSCS.
• SMSTS.
• Previous experience working on water treatment schemes.
• Strong civil engineering background.
• Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
• Good understanding of RAMS, health and safety and quality procedures.
• IT literate.
• Full UK driving licence.
