Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to deliver a water infrastructure project in Derby. The role focuses on tunnelling and shaft construction with underground civils expertise.

You will manage day-to-day site operations, supervise crews and subcontractors, ensure RAMS and permits, and liaise with the Project Manager to meet programme and quality targets. Extensive health and safety compliance, reporting progress, coordinating labour, plant and materials, and maintaining site

Qualifications

• Experience in tunnelling and shaft construction.
• Strong civil engineering background.
• Experience managing underground works and deep excavations.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Good understanding of RAMS, health and safety and quality requirements.

My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Manager to help deliver a water infrastructure project in Derby. The project involves tunnelling and shaft construction, so previous experience managing underground civils and water schemes is essential.

Site Manager Requirements

• Black or Gold CSCS
• SMSTS
• Previous tunnelling and shaft construction experience is essential
• Previous water treatment or water infrastructure experience is essential
• Strong civil engineering background
• Experience managing underground works, deep excavations and temporary works
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
• Good understanding of RAMS, health and safety and quality requirements
• IT literate
• Full UK driving licence
