Melior Associates Ltd. is seeking a Site Manager/Senior Site Manager to lead on water sector projects near Petersfield, Hampshire. You will oversee delivery of water supply and wastewater treatment works across the South, ensuring safety and environmental adherence.

Ideal candidates will have a Civil Engineering/Construction Management degree, recognised site management qualifications, and necessary certificates (CSCS, SMSTS, first aid, IOSH). A valid driving licence is essential for site travel.

Formación

• Qualified in civil engineering or construction management with a recognised site management credential.
• Proven experience delivering water/wastewater projects on-site with safety leadership.
• Hold CSCS, SMSTS and first aid credentials; full driving license required.
• Understand HSE risk management and construction best practices on active schemes.
• Ability to plan, brief, and manage complex site operations and resources.

Responsabilidades

• Manage, supervise and mentor the site team to deliver projects.
• Develop and implement HASEMP and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Ensure works respect local populations and environmental considerations.
• Maintain cost-conscious management and accurate method statements/risk assessments.
• Prepare and update realistic scheme programmes and deliver inductions and toolbox talks.
• Ensure plant/equipment is fit for purpose and operated by trained personnel.

Great career opportunity for a Site Manager /Senior Site Manager working for an 1st class civil engineering contractor in the water sector.

The position will be based near Petersfield, Hampshire.

The Site Manager will help deliver a range of water supply and wastewater treatment projects within the South.

My client is ideally looking for someone with experience in the water sector.

Responsibilities of the Senior Site Manager

• Manage, supervise and mentor the site team
• Develop scheme Health, Safety and Environmental Management Plan (HASEMP)
• Ensure all works are undertaken with due regard to the needs of the local population
• Adopt, maintain and promote cost conscious management
• Ensure method statements and risk assessments are prepared, reviewed, briefed and updated
• Ensure realistic scheme programmes are prepared, reviewed and updated
• Deliver site inductions and regular tool box talk briefings to all site personnel
• Ensure all plant and equipment used is fit for purpose, only operated by suitably trained personnel and regularly inspected

Ideal Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Site management experience in a Water, Wastewater or similar environment
• Recognised Civil Engineering/Site Management Qualifications
• Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction ManagementUnderstanding of Engineering Principles

• CSCS Site Managers Card (minimum)
• Minimum of SMSTS
