Job summary

RTL Group Ltd in Northampton is seeking a Site Manager to deliver a water treatment project with an immediate start. You will manage day-to-day site operations, supervise subcontractors, run toolbox talks, and liaise with clients and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong civil engineering background, water treatment experience, RAMS and health and safety knowledge, IT literacy, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• CSCS and SMSTS credentials required.
• Experience in water treatment projects essential.
• Strong civil engineering background with site leadership experience.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively.
• Knowledge of RAMS, health & safety and quality requirements.
• IT literacy and proficient reporting/documentation skills.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate labour, plant and materials.
• Supervise subcontractors and site teams, conduct toolbox talks.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders; ensure health and safety compliance.
• Produce RAMS, permits and site documentation; maintain records.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
• Report progress to the Project Manager.

My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Manager to help deliver a water treatment project in Northampton, with an immediate start available. The successful candidate must have previous experience working on water treatment or water infrastructure projects.

Site Manager Responsibilities:

• Managing day-to-day site operations
• Supervising subcontractors and site teams
• Toolbox talks
• Client and stakeholder liaison
• Health and safety compliance
• Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation
• Coordinating labour, plant and materials
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
• Monitoring quality and maintaining site records
• Reporting progress to the Project Manager

Site Manager Requirements:

• Black or Gold CSCS
• SMSTS
• Previous water treatment experience is essential
• Strong civil engineering background
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
• Good understanding of RAMS, health and safety and quality requirements
• IT literate
• Full UK driving licence
