Job summary

RTL Group Ltd. is seeking a Site Manager for a Water Treatment Works (WTW) project in Solihull on an 18-month contract. The role requires strong water/civil engineering background, management of subcontractors, and delivery to programme and specification.

An immediate start is available, with toolbox talks and active client liaison as part of the duties. You will ensure RAMS and site permits are in place, maintain quality records, and work closely with the Project Manager to keep the project on

Qualifications

• Strong water and civil engineering background.

• Good understanding of health and safety and quality requirements.

My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Manager to help deliver a Water Treatment Works (WTW) project in Solihull, with an immediate start available. This is an 18-month project, offering long-term work for an experienced Site Manager with a strong water background.

Site Manager Responsibilities:

• Toolbox talks
• Client liaison
• Stakeholder liaison
• Health and safety compliance
• Ordering materials
• Managing day-to-day site operations
• Supervising subcontractors and site teams
• Managing the delivery of works on the WTW
• Ensuring works are delivered on programme and to specification
• Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation
• Overseeing quality control, inspections and site records
• Working closely with the Project Manager to maintain programme and project delivery

Site Manager Requirements:

• Black or Gold CSCS
• SMSTS
• Previous experience managing WTW projects is essential
• Strong water and civil engineering background
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
• Good understanding of health and safety and quality requirements
• IT literate
• Full UK driving licence
