Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking a Site Agent to deliver a water treatment scheme in Kent. You will join an established project team and oversee day-to-day site operations, health and safety compliance, and liaison with clients and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a strong civil engineering background, CSCS Black/Gold card, SMSTS, and proven experience with water infrastructure. You will manage subcontractors, RAMS, permits, and site documentation, with IT literacy and a full UK driving licence.

My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Agent to help deliver a water treatment scheme in Kent, with an immediate start available. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Agent with a strong water and civil engineering background to join an established project team.

Site Agent Responsibilities:

• Toolbox talks
• Client liaison
• Stakeholder liaison
• Health and safety compliance
• Ordering materials
• Managing day-to-day site operations
• Supervising subcontractors and site teams
• Coordinating works across the water treatment site
• Ensuring works are delivered on programme and to specification
• Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation
• Overseeing quality control, inspections and site records
• Reporting progress to the Project Manager
• Supporting the wider project team with programme delivery

Site Agent Requirements:

• Black or Gold CSCS
• SMSTS
• Previous experience working on water treatment or water infrastructure projects is essential
• Strong civil engineering background
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
• Good understanding of RAMS, health and safety and quality requirements
• IT literate
• Full UK driving licence
