Job summary

Velocity Recruitment is seeking a Site Manager to join a major retail banking framework across the UK. You will oversee fast-track retail projects, ensuring safety, value engineering and timely delivery on schemes valued from £250,000 to £1.5 million.

Candidates with prior retail contractor exposure and a valid SMSTS/CSCS will be preferred; willingness to travel is essential.

Site Manager

The company

The retail projects division of one of the UK's premier main contractors is keen to strengthen its site management team. They are recognised as being one of the leading contractors within the retail sector and are working with many of the UK's leading supermarket, high street shop and bank chains.

The role

For this particular role you will be working on a major national retail banking framework. Projects will vary in value and will range from £250,000 - £1.5million and will be fast track. Your key responsibility will be to ensure the project is built safely, economically and to the within agreed timescales whilst delivering quality. Previous retail experience with a main contractor is essential and you must be willing to travel. Prior recent experience of working on banking projects is essential. You must also hold an SMSTS, Manager's CSCS, 1st Aid, and Asbestos Awareness as a minimum.
