Thorn Baker is currently recruiting for a Site Manager to cover a large distribution centre in Hull. The role is available as soon as possible.

Are you an experienced Area Manager or Cleaning Manager with expertise in managing a variety of contracts and looking to oversee one site?

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week across a 5 out of 7 working pattern, including evenings and weekends, where flexibility is essential.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £40,000.

Ideally, you will have a proven track record in soft services facilities management within large distribution centres or large-scale cleaning environments, with a clear understanding of soft services. You will lead a large cleaning team, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and health and safety routines.

Role Responsibilities

1. Deliver services in accordance with the FM strategy, site service charter, and service level agreements to monitor key elements of the FM service.
2. Manage on-site FM projects as agreed with the Project Team.
3. Act as a key interface between the on-site client and contracted service providers on a daily basis.
4. Monitor and report on service level agreements and key performance indicators, both internal and external.
5. Oversee supply partners' service delivery and customer interactions daily.
6. Track and report financials to ensure services are delivered within budget and meet service levels.
7. Continuously review and develop initiatives to improve or rationalize hard services for optimal performance and customer engagement.
8. Manage departmental audits and statutory compliance plans to maintain legal standards.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to meet expectations within defined specifications.
10. Handle employee relations issues in line with company HR policies, consulting with HR representatives, and valuing diversity.
11. Train and induct colleagues on their roles, standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
12. Ensure all colleagues are trained in and adhere to relevant Health, Safety, and COSHH policies and procedures.

• Full UK Driving Licence
