Job summary

Bond Recruit Ltd. is recruiting a Site Manager to oversee a programme of social housing roofing works across occupied properties in Swindon. You will manage day-to-day site activities, coordinate roofing teams and subcontractors, and ensure works meet safety, quality and programme expectations.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication with residents and clients, and solid experience in roofing projects within social housing or planned maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager / Supervisor.
• Strong roofing project experience.
• Experience in social housing or planned maintenance is preferred.
• Excellent communication with residents and clients.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
• Proficient in coordinating labour, materials and access to properties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily management of planned roofing works across occupied housing.
• Coordinate roofing subcontractors and trades.
• Ensure works are safe, on time, and to specification.
• Lead site inspections and monitor quality.
• Manage Health & Safety and site compliance.
• Coordinate labour, materials and access to properties.
• Work with Resident Liaison Officers to minimise tenant disruption.
• Manage programmes and ensure timely completion.
• Conduct toolbox talks and site inductions.
• Prepare site paperwork, progress reports and H&S documentation.
• Oversee snagging and ensure high standards.
• Liaise with Contracts Managers, clients and project team.

Position: Site Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a programme of planned roofing works across occupied residential properties in the Swindon area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple properties, coordinating roofing teams and subcontractors while ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of planned roofing works across occupied housing
• Managing and coordinating roofing subcontractors and trades
• Ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to specification
• Carrying out site inspections and monitoring quality
• Managing Health & Safety and ensuring site compliance
• Coordinating labour, materials and access to properties
• Working closely with Resident Liaison Officers to minimise disruption to tenants
• Managing programmes and ensuring properties are completed to agreed timescales
• Conducting toolbox talks and site inductions
• Completing site paperwork, progress reports and H&S documentation
• Managing snagging and ensuring works are completed to a high standard
• Liaising with Contracts Managers, clients and other members of the project team

Requirements

• Previous Site Manager / Supervisor experience
• Strong experience with roofing projects
• Ideally experience within social housing, planned maintenance or occupied properties
• Good understanding of Health & Safety
• Strong subcontractor and programme management skills
• Excellent communication skills when dealing with residents and clients
