Job summary

RTL Group in Ipswich is seeking a Site Manager to oversee day-to-day site activities and lead on civil works. You will coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant and materials, ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification, and liaise with the Project Manager, engineers, client and subcontractors.

The role requires RAMS and quality controls, SMSTS/CSCS cards, and a strong focus on health & safety in complex construction environments.

Qualifications

• Experience managing site activities on major civil engineering projects.
• Strong RAMS, permits, inspections and quality controls.
• SMSTS and CSCS cards required.
• Good communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of highways, drainage and utility installation.

• SMSTS and relevant CSCS card.
• Strong understanding of health & safety, RAMS and CDM.
• Experience managing subcontractors and complex construction activities.
• Good understanding of highways, drainage and utility installation.
• Good communication, leadership and organisational skills.
