Job summary

MMP Consultancy is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee day-to-day delivery of construction and refurbishment projects. You will manage site operations to ensure safety, on-time delivery, quality, and budget adherence.

The role requires leadership of site teams and subcontractors, the ability to develop programmes, oversee safety, coordinate resources, and maintain site records in line with contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Site Manager role within construction, refurbishment, planned maintenance, or social housing.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Sound knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and construction best practices.
• Valid SMSTS qualification.
• CSCS Card.
• First Aid at Work certificate.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site activities from project inception through to completion.
• Lead and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Develop, monitor, and update project programmes to ensure works are completed within agreed timescales.
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
• Carry out site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks.
• Coordinate materials, labour, plant, and subcontractor resources.
• Monitor quality standards and ensure works are completed to specification.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, residents, and stakeholders as required.
• Identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays and maintain project progress.
• Produce and maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure projects are delivered within budget and in line with contractual requirements.
