Job summary

Adaston is expanding its operations team and seeks a Site Manager to oversee passive fire protection works on site. You will manage programmes, quality standards, and commercial performance while leading installation teams, ensuring safe and efficient delivery.

Based on projects in healthcare facilities, social housing, student accommodation, and other occupied or complex buildings, you will liaise with clients and internal teams to keep projects on track and ensure high standards of workmanship

Qualifications

• Holds relevant qualifications in passive fire protection and/or fire door installation.
• Experience managing multiple operatives and subcontractors on active sites.
• Experience in occupied or complex buildings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee passive fire protection projects on site (fire stopping and fire door installations).
• Coordinate daily site operations to meet safety, time, and quality standards.
• Maintain regular communication with Operations Manager and team to support programme delivery.
• Produce regular progress reports and site updates.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication.
• Lead, supervise, and develop installation teams with a focus on workmanship and safety.
• Monitor quality and ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Identify and escalate any site issues impacting programme, quality, or cost.
