Job summary

Adaston in the United Kingdom is expanding its operations team and is recruiting Site Managers to oversee passive fire protection works on site, manage programmes, quality, and safety while leading installation teams.

You will work with clients and internal teams across healthcare, social housing, student accommodation, and other occupied buildings, ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish and are delivered to tight timelines and standards.

About The Role:

Due to continued company growth, Adaston is expanding its operations team and is looking to appoint additional Site Managers to support the successful delivery of our projects.

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of passive fire protection works on site. You will manage programme timelines, quality standards, and commercial performance, while leading installation teams and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.

You will work closely with clients, the Operations Manager, and office-based teams to ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish. Our projects span a range of live environments, including healthcare facilities, social housing, student accommodation, and other occupied or complex buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver passive fire protection projects, including fire stopping and fire door installations
• Coordinate daily site operations to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards
• Maintain regular communication with the Operations Manager and wider team to support smooth programme delivery
• Produce regular progress reports and site updates
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear, professional, and transparent communication
• Lead, supervise, and develop installation teams on site, promoting high standards of workmanship and safety
• Monitor quality of works and ensure compliance with relevant specifications and regulations
• Identify and escalation any site issues that may impact programme, quality, or cost

About You:

• Holds relevant qualifications in passive fire protection and/or fire door installation
• Proven experience in site or project management, ideally within occupied or complex buildings
• Experience managing multiple operatives and subcontractors on active sites
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and maintain high performance standards
• Solid understanding of site safety requirements and best practices
• Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude and desire to develop professionally
• Clear, confident communicator with good client-facing skills
• Adaptable and willing to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment
