Job summary

Adaston is expanding its passive fire protection team and seeks an experienced Site Manager to lead fire stopping projects across the South of England. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, programme, quality, and budget compliance.

Join a specialist team delivering in healthcare, housing, education, and complex buildings. You will manage installation teams, coordinate subcontractors, report progress, and maintain strong client relationships while upholding industry

Qualifications

• Qualifications in passive fire protection and/or fire door removal/installation.
• Experience managing site/projects on occupied or complex buildings.
• Experience coordinating multiple operatives and subcontractors on active sites.
• Strong leadership and client-facing skills.
• Solid site safety knowledge and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver passive fire protection projects, with a focus on fire stopping works, ensuring safety, programme, quality and budget compliance.
• Coordinate daily site operations to ensure works are delivered safely and on time.
• Maintain regular communication with the Operations Manager and wider team to support smooth programme delivery.
• Produce regular progress reports and site updates.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear, professional communication.
• Lead, supervise and develop installation teams on site, promoting high standards of workmanship and safety.
• Monitor quality of works and ensure compliance with relevant specifications and regulations.
• Identify and escalate any site issues impacting programme, quality or cost.
