Job summary

Checkmate Fire Solutions is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure all fire protection works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You will coordinate teams, liaise with clients, and ensure regulatory compliance on-site.

The role requires proven site supervision experience in fire protection or construction, strong knowledge of passive fire protection systems, SSSTS/SMSTS, FIRAS accreditation, First Aid certification, and a full UK

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Site Supervisor role within fire protection or construction.
• Strong knowledge of passive fire protection systems and regulations.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification; FIRAS accreditation; First Aid certification.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate site-based fire protection works (e.g., fire stopping, passive fire protection, fire doors)
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations and company policies
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and materials
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
• Liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders
• Identify and resolve on-site issues efficiently
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
