Job summary

Howells Solutions Limited is recruiting a Site Manager for passive fire works in the South East London area. You will supervise subcontractors, ensure safe and timely delivery, and coordinate day-to-day program activities across multiple sites.

The role requires SMSTS, IOSH, CSCS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, and eligibility for Security Clearance, with fire qualifications preferred. Travel will be involved across residential, healthcare, education and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification is required.
• Experience with Social Housing FRA is preferred.
• First Aid certification is required.
• CSCS Card is required.
• Asbestos Awareness is required.
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance.
• IOSH certification is required.
• Fire qualification (BM Trada, FIRAS, NVQ Passive Fire) preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of Fire Door systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage subcontractors and delivery of works.
• Ensure works are completed safely, within timescales and quality standards.
• Inspect properties pre- and post-works and conduct progress meetings.
• Oversee day-to-day delivery of the programme and contractor coordination.

As the Site Manager, you will supervise and manage the contractors' undertaking works, ensuring the works are completed in a safe and efficient manner within stated timescales. You will be responsible for management of sub-contractors, inspecting properties pre and post works, taking progress meetings and overseeing the day-to-day delivery of the programme.

Site Manager Relevant Experience / Qualifications:

• SMSTS
• Social Housing FRA experience
