Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Site Lead / Site Manager to drive field service delivery across the UK. You will supervise Field Service Engineers and subcontractors on customer sites, coordinate activities to meet schedules, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or equivalent (Mechanical/Electrical).
• Experience leading site teams and field service activities.
• Experience with installation, commissioning, maintenance, refurbishments, or repair of large industrial equipment.
• Strong health and safety focus with risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Field Service Engineers and subcontractors on customer sites.
• Act as on-site point of contact and manage site activities to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction across projects.
• Support installation, commissioning, maintenance, refurbishment, or repair of transformer equipment.
• Coordinate site logistics, permits, and subcontractor activities for timely delivery.
• Lead toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety communications on site.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and elevate issues to PMs and Service Management.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, safety and service quality.
• Represent Hitachi Energy on sites and identify service opportunities for growth.
