Job summary

Consortium Professional Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an IT & Infrastructure Lead for a site-based role in Melton, East Yorkshire. You will own the local IT environment, work with an external MSP and Group IT teams to ensure secure, reliable infrastructure and end-user technology.

Ideal candidates have hands-on infrastructure experience in manufacturing/operational settings, with responsibility for Windows/Microsoft 365, networks, devices, asset lifecycle and IT documentation, while coordinating

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT infrastructure and networking in industrial/operational environments.
• Experience with MSP vendors and external IT partners; hands-on with on-site support.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to coordinate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day IT infrastructure and drive ongoing improvements on site.
• Support servers, networks, Wi-Fi, and endpoint devices; manage lifecycle.
• Partner with MSP to troubleshoot incidents and coordinate projects.
• Implement IT security standards and documentation; manage asset records.
• Provide first and second-line on-site support, including OT/SCADA context where appropriate.
